Identify the prevalence and determinants related to therapeutic non adherence among patients with chronic pathologies and to design effective interventions optimizing treatment compliance.
Medication non-adherence is a major problem leading to accelerated disease progression, increased morbidity and mortality, and additional costs to health systems. This is why the main objectif of this study is to identify factors that influence therapeutic adherence and to design effective interventions optimizing treatment compliance.
This study is a cross-sectional descriptive survey taking place at the emergency department of the Fattouma Bourguiba hospital in Monastir and at regional hospitals of the city of Monastir.

Exclusion Criteria:
Adherence measured using the 8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8)
Medication adherence will be assessed using the 8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8). The scale assesses patients' medication-taking behavior, including forgetting doses, discontinuing treatment, difficulties with daily medication use, and other behaviors related to medication adherence. The MMAS-8 score ranges from 0 to 8, with higher scores indicating higher medication adherence.
Time frame: Baseline
Factors associated with medication adherence
