What researchers measure

Primary outcomes

  1. Percentage of Root Coverage

Description: Percentage of root coverage calculated as \[(baseline recession depth - postoperative recession depth) / baseline recession depth\] × 100. Recession depth is measured from the cemento-enamel junction (CEJ) to the most apical point of the gingival margin using a periodontal probe.

Time frame: Baseline and 6 months postoperatively

  2. Gingival Crevicular Fluid (GCF) Biomarker Levels

Description: GCF levels of measured by ELISA, collected from the treated sites with paper strips.

Time frame: Baseline, 1, 3 and 6 months postoperatively
