The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the "One Minute for My Kidneys" program in reducing the time it takes for participants with stage V chronic kidney disease and other comorbidities to begin dialysis.
This is a multicenter, interventional, prospective, randomized, controlled, open-label clinical investigation.
The study population is composed of adults with stage V chronic kidney disease and other comorbidities.
Participants are offered enrollment in the clinical trial during a nephrology follow-up visit for their chronic kidney disease. Participants who are enrolled after signing an informed consent form and confirming their eligibility will then be randomized to either the group receiving access to the "1 Minute for My Kidneys" program in addition to standard of care, or the group receiving standard of care alone.
3,224 studies on the registry are indexed under Renal Insufficiency, Chronic; 706 are open to participants now.
This study's planned enrollment of 312 is above the median of 74 across 2,229 interventional studies indexed under Renal Insufficiency, Chronic.
