This study aims to evaluate the immediate effects of acupuncture therapy at three specific acupuncture points (PC6, ST36, and KI3) on intradialysis nausea and vomiting in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing regular hemodialysis. The outcome will be assessed using the Rhodes Index of Nausea, Vomiting, and Retching (RINVR) score one hour during the treatment and two hours after completion of hemodialysis.
1,123 studies on the registry are indexed under Vomiting; 137 are open to participants now.

Start is estimated for Oct 2026; primary completion for Nov 2026, 1 month later.
Of 230 non-industry interventional studies with no phase under Vomiting, half reached primary completion within 12 months of starting (the median), counting those still running; a quarter within 6 and three quarters within 26. This study's planned 1 month is below that.
Counting every sponsor, half of 234 studies reached it within 12 months; a quarter within 6 and three quarters within 27.
