Patients admitted to hospital due to COPD exacerbation

Inclusion criteria

  • COPD exacerbation
  • Able to give informed consent
  • Able to perform spirometry

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Known malignancy
  • Known hypercoagulable state
  • Receiving anticoagulant treatment
  • Pregnancy
  • Renal failure
  • Allergy to Iodine
