An observational study in Haematological Cancer, sponsored by University Hospital, Strasbourg, France. Recruiting at 1 site in France. Open to participants aged 18 Years and older. Per ClinicalTrials.gov, last updated 2026-10-22.
Sponsored by University Hospital, Strasbourg, France · Observational
Although the benefits of adapted physical activity (APA) are well documented in the scientific literature, few studies have specifically examined the impact of adapted boxing on body image and self-esteem in patients with haematological conditions. The current approach relies on the empirical observations of healthcare professionals, but no systematic evaluation has been conducted to quantify the actual effects of this practice on patients. This project therefore aims to address this lack of data by rigorously and scientifically assessing the impact of a boxing session on patients' psychological and emotional well-being. The use of validated questionnaires (Rosenberg Scale, QIC, EORTC QLQ-C30) will provide objective and comparable measures12.
University Hospital, Strasbourg, France is the lead sponsor of 994 studies on the registry; 353 are open to participants now.
Counted across the registry records on this site, refreshed daily.
Patients will be recruited from the haematology departments at the HUS during their hospital stay, on the recommendation of a referring haematologist.
