Sponsored by Nanjing First Hospital, Nanjing Medical University · Observational
This project intends to retrospectively review the medical records of patients with Haglund's syndrome who underwent surgical treatment in the Department of Sports Medicine and Joint Surgery between 2019 and 2026, to analyze the advantages and limitations of totalendoscopic calcaneoplasty combined with Achilles tendon insertion reconstruction compared with conventional open surgery. The findings are expected to provide scientific evidence for individualized treatment of patients with Haglund's syndrome.
Nanjing First Hospital, Nanjing Medical University is the lead sponsor of 220 studies on the registry; 107 are open to participants now.

Patients diagnosed with Haglund syndrome and insertional Achilles tendinopathy who received surgical treatment in our hospital. Subjects were retrospectively screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and divided into two groups based on surgical approach. Both groups underwent calcaneoplasty combined with insertional Achilles tendon reconstruction, one via open approach and the other via endoscopic approach.
Inclusion Criteria:1: Patients attended the orthopedic outpatient clinic of Nanjing First Hospital and underwent open or endoscopic calcaneoplasty combined with Achilles tendon insertion reconstruction between 2019 and 2026.
