TuCAN-Media is a longitudinal study investigating cognitive recovery after stroke in severely affected patients (modified Rankin Scale [mRS] score ≥ 3) with large vessel occlusion of the arteria cerebri media/middle cerebral artery (MCA). Cognitive functioning and recovery will be assessed in a comprehensive multi-domain digital-based cognitive testing using the TuCAN-App to facilitate a standardized and rapid testing during the acute phase of a stroke (V2), as well as at 3month(V3)- and 6-month (V4) follow-ups.
