  • Individuals who have used, are currently using, or are expected to use, any herbal remedies, supplements, over-the-counter or prescription drugs that affect blood pressure, or other drugs or treatments that the investigator determines may affect the participant's blood pressure or the conduct of the trial within 30 days or 5 half-lives (whichever is longer) prior to administration.
  • Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan to become pregnant during the study period and within one year after administration; women with a positive pregnancy test result at the screening or baseline period; or women of childbearing age who have had unprotected sex with their partner within 14 days prior to or during the screening period.

  • Smoking ≥5 cigarettes per day within 3 months prior to screening, or planning to smoke ≥5 cigarettes per day during the study period.
  • Positive drug abuse screening (if a false positive is due to methodological reasons, or a positive result is due to drugs (such as influenza or cold medicine), a retest may be conducted before D-2 at the investigator's discretion, and the retest result shall prevail).

1 registry update since Sep 25, 2026
ElapsedEstimatedEstimated, not yet reachedSimilar studies: half by the dot; the band is the middle halfHalf of similar studies reached it by the dot; the band is the middle half, from a quarter to three quarters

Ran from Mar 2025 to primary completion in Aug 2026, 16 months.

Of 111 industry-sponsored phase 1 interventional studies under Hypertension, half reached primary completion within 5 months of starting (the median), counting those still running; a quarter within 1 and three quarters within 15. This study's 16 months is above that.

Counting every sponsor, half of 158 studies reached it within 9 months; a quarter within 2 and three quarters within 28.

How these figures are worked out, and which studies are left out of them.

What these dates mean
Start.
When the first participant enrolled; while estimated, when the study expects to open to recruitment.
Primary completion.
When the last participant was examined or treated to collect data for the study's main question, its primary outcome. A study that stopped early gives the date its data collection stopped.
Completion.
When the last participant's last visit took place, for every outcome, secondary ones and side effects included: the end of the study. Often later than primary completion, sometimes the same day.
Actual and Est.
Actual means the registry says the date has happened. Est. (estimated) is a date the sponsor plans or expects. It can still move, and the sponsor is expected to change it to actual once it has passed.
