Sponsored by Mei Man · Not applicable, Interventional, and Supportive care
This study will evaluate a podcast-based psychosocial support program for women who have been newly diagnosed with breast cancer. The program is designed to provide accessible information and psychological support during the period between diagnosis and the start of cancer treatment.
Participants will be assigned to either an experimental group or a control group. Participants in the experimental group will receive a series of podcast episodes addressing common concerns related to breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, psychological adjustment, and coping. Participants in the control group will receive usual care.
Participants will complete questionnaires before the program and approximately 1 month after the intervention. The study will assess changes in anxiety, uncertainty, demoralization, and other psychological outcomes. The findings will help determine whether podcast-based psychosocial support may provide useful support for women adjusting to a new breast cancer diagnosis.
