An observational study in Clinical Intuition, sponsored by Erasmus Medical Center. Not yet recruiting. Per ClinicalTrials.gov, last updated 2026-10-16.
Sponsored by Erasmus Medical Center · Observational
Patient selection for Phase I oncology trials is formally based on protocol-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. In practice, however, healthcare professionals also take clinical intuition and professional experience into account when assessing suitability. The role of this intuitive judgment is insufficiently described in the literature, even though it may be relevant for preventing early trial discontinuation.
Erasmus Medical Center is the lead sponsor of 478 studies on the registry; 183 are open to participants now.
