An expanded access record providing DS-9606a in Advanced Testicular Germ Cell Tumors and Metastatic Testicular Germ Cell Tumors, sponsored by Daiichi Sankyo. Temporarily not available. Open to male participants aged 18 Years and older. Per ClinicalTrials.gov, last updated 2026-10-07.
Sponsored by Daiichi Sankyo · Expanded access
DS-9606a demonstrates antitumor activity in patients with solid tumors known to express CLDN-6, primarily in patients with testicular GCT, with a manageable safety profile with appropriate risk minimization measures. The purpose of this Medical Access Program (MAP) is to provide access to DS-9606a to eligible patients with advanced testicular GCT who have received standard of care treatment and, in their treating physician's opinion, have an unmet clinical need and cannot enter a clinical trial.
A patient enrolled in the MAP can continue treatment until any of the following occurs, whichever comes first:
Daiichi Sankyo is the lead sponsor of 322 studies on the registry; 37 are open to participants now.
Of its 51 completed or terminated interventional studies of FDA-regulated products, 38 (75%) have results posted.
Counted across the registry records on this site, refreshed daily.
Patients are only eligible after signing the informed consent form (ICF) (see also signature by an impartial witness) and must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for the MAP:
All patient must be Male adults ≥18 years or the minimum legal adult age (whichever is greater) at the time the ICF is signed.
The patient with histologically or cytologically documented advanced/metastatic testicular GCT, including seminoma, non-seminoma, and mixed histology type, defined as patients who have progressed after at least 2 prior lines of platinum-based chemotherapy. Progression may be assessed based on radiographical progression and/or elevation of tumor markers (AFP and/or HCG). Prior HDCT with SCT is allowed but not required for program entry. Retroperitoneal GCT that are considered to be from testicular origin are eligible.
The patient, if capable of producing sperm, is eligible to participate if he agrees to the following during the intervention period and for at least the time needed to eliminate the program intervention. The length of time required to continue contraception after last dose for the trial intervention is 195 days (approx. 6.5 months).
Adhere to either of the following contraception methods:
Contraceptive use should be consistent with local regulations regarding the methods of contraception for those participating in clinical studies. If the contraception requirements in the local label for any of the program interventions are more stringent than the requirements above, the local label requirements are to be followed.
Patients who meet any of the following criteria will not be eligible for the MAP.
In this MAP, the recommended starting dose for eligible patients is 0.150 mg/kg administered intravenously (IV) on day 1 of each 21 day cycle, to be continued until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
